Support & User Guide
GallerySweepPro helps you review your photo library and identify photos and videos that may be taking up unnecessary storage.
GallerySweepPro requires access to photos and videos in order to analyze your library.
If you choose Limited Access, GallerySweepPro can only analyze the photos and videos you have allowed it to access.
You can change photo permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Open Duplicates to review groups of photos that GallerySweepPro considers matches.
A suggested keeper may be identified within a group. Review every group before selecting extra copies for deletion.
Open Similar Photos to review images that appear visually similar, such as several pictures taken around the same time.
Similar photos are not necessarily duplicates. Review them carefully before making a selection.
The Screenshots category provides a convenient place to review screenshots accessible to GallerySweepPro.
Use the Large Photos and Large Videos categories to find media that may consume significant storage.
Displayed storage amounts may be estimates and can differ from the actual amount of storage recovered.
GallerySweepPro can flag photos that may be blurry based on automated image analysis. Blur detection is only a suggestion. Intentional depth-of-field, motion effects, low-light photography, and other creative techniques may cause a photo to be identified as possibly blurry.
Tap an item to select or deselect it. Selected items can be reviewed from the Selected tab before deletion.
GallerySweepPro does not automatically select your entire photo library for deletion.
Deleted photos and videos may remain in the Photos app's Recently Deleted album until permanently removed according to Apple's Photos behavior.
After making changes to your photo library, use Scan Again to refresh GallerySweepPro's results.
Large photo libraries can take longer to analyze. If iCloud Photos is being used, iOS may also need to retrieve image data from iCloud before an item can be analyzed.
Check GallerySweepPro's Photos permission in iOS Settings. If Limited Access is enabled, only the photos and videos you selected are available to the app.
