StepVault Support

Every step. Every day. All in one place.

StepVault makes it easy to explore the activity history already recorded through Apple Health.

Getting Started

1. Allow Apple Health Access

When StepVault first launches, select Connect Apple Health and choose the health information you would like to share with StepVault.

2. View Today's Activity

The Today screen displays your current steps, distance, active calories, exercise minutes, daily goal progress, and recent activity.

3. Explore Your History

Open the History tab to explore your activity by week, month, year, and all-time history.

4. Track Your Total Steps

StepVault can compile the step information available through Apple Health to show totals for today, this week, this month, this year, and your recorded all-time steps.

5. Earn Trophies

The Trophies section recognizes step milestones, daily achievements, goal streaks, and lifetime step milestones.

Changing Your Step Goal

Open Settings → Daily Goals. You can select one of the quick step presets or enter a custom step goal.

Miles or Kilometers

Open Settings → Distance Units and select Miles or Kilometers. StepVault will display distance using your selected unit.

Refreshing Activity

StepVault reads activity information available through Apple Health. If recent activity has not appeared yet, use the refresh option in StepVault and make sure Apple Health has received the latest information from your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Health Permissions

Apple controls HealthKit permissions. If StepVault is not displaying expected information, verify that StepVault has permission to read the appropriate activity categories in your Apple Health settings.

Privacy

StepVault is designed to provide activity statistics without requiring a StepVault account. Health information accessed through HealthKit is used to provide the app's activity features.
