Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 24, 2026
SSH Now is designed with privacy in mind. The app does not require an account and does not operate an advertising or analytics service.
Information Stored on Your Device
SSH Now may store connection bookmarks such as server names, hostnames or IP addresses, ports, usernames, favorites, and terminal appearance settings locally on your device. Passwords and private keys saved by the app are stored using the iOS Keychain.
SSH Connections
When you initiate an SSH connection, SSH Now communicates directly with the server you specify. Information you send through an SSH session is transmitted to that server as necessary to provide the connection. The privacy and logging practices of servers you connect to are controlled by those server operators, not SSH Now.
Host Keys
SSH Now may store SSH host-key information on your device so it can recognize servers and warn you if a previously known host key changes.
Data Collection and Sharing
SSH Now does not intentionally collect, sell, rent, or use your personal information for advertising. The app does not upload your saved SSH credentials to a developer-operated cloud service.
Third-Party Services
Your use of remote SSH servers, networks, Apple services, or other third-party systems may be subject to their own privacy policies and practices.
Security
Reasonable technical measures are used to protect locally stored credentials, including use of the iOS Keychain. No software or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes
This policy may be updated as SSH Now changes.
