CaseKeeper Terms of Service

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

These Terms govern your use of CaseKeeper. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. About CaseKeeper

CaseKeeper is a paid organization and documentation tool for records, customer service issues, repairs, purchases, disputes, deadlines, events, contacts, notes, documents, pictures, and reports.

CaseKeeper is not a law firm, legal service, financial service, claims administrator, government agency, or professional adviser.

2. No Legal or Professional Advice

CaseKeeper does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice, representation, or recommendations. It does not guarantee any result in a dispute, complaint, claim, customer service issue, repair issue, purchase issue, legal matter, or other situation.

You are responsible for deciding whether you need qualified professional advice.

3. Your Responsibility

You are responsible for information you enter, protecting your device and passcode, protecting confidential information, reviewing deadlines and calendar entries, maintaining backups, and deciding what to export or share.

CaseKeeper should not be treated as the only copy of important records.

4. License to Use

CaseKeeper grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for lawful personal purposes.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or create derivative works from CaseKeeper except where applicable law permits.

5. Information, Documents, and Pictures You Add

You retain responsibility for all information, photos, scans, PDFs, screenshots, documents, pictures, notes, and other material you add. You represent that you have the right to store, use, and share that material.

Do not use CaseKeeper to store or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, or infringing material.

6. Local Storage and Data Loss

CaseKeeper is designed primarily for local storage. Information may be affected by device damage, loss, deletion, app removal, failed backups, or other technical issues.

CaseKeeper does not guarantee that information, documents, or pictures will always be available or recoverable.

7. Calendar, Export, and Sharing Features

CaseKeeper may add deadlines to Apple Calendar and export or share reports using Apple system features or other apps.

Calendar events, reports, messages, AirDrop transfers, and files saved outside CaseKeeper are controlled by Apple or the receiving service. You are responsible for verifying shared information and calendar entries.

8. Acceptable Use

You may not use CaseKeeper to break the law, infringe rights or intellectual property, distribute malicious software, harass or defraud another person, disrupt the app, or misrepresent CaseKeeper as a legal, financial, or professional service.

9. Ownership

CaseKeeper, including its software, design, name, branding, graphics, interfaces, and original content, is owned by or licensed to the developer. These Terms do not transfer ownership of CaseKeeper or its intellectual property to you.

10. Third-Party Services

CaseKeeper may interact with Apple Calendar, Photos, Files, AirDrop, Mail, Messages, and the App Store. Your use of those services is subject to their applicable terms and policies. CaseKeeper is not responsible for third-party services.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

CaseKeeper is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. CaseKeeper does not warrant that the app will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete, or compatible with every device or iOS version.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CaseKeeper and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, documents, pictures, profits, opportunities, or issues arising from use of or inability to use the app.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CaseKeeper and its developer from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your misuse of the app, violation of these Terms, or violation of another person’s rights.

14. Ending Use

You may stop using CaseKeeper at any time by deleting the app. CaseKeeper may restrict or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms or misuse the app.

15. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16. Apple Terms

These Terms are between you and the developer of CaseKeeper, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for CaseKeeper, its content, maintenance, support, warranties, or claims relating to the app.

Your use of CaseKeeper must comply with Apple’s applicable App Store terms and policies. Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce applicable provisions against you.
