CaseKeeper is a paid organization and documentation app that helps you organize personal records, customer service issues, repairs, disputes, purchases, deadlines, events, contacts, documents, pictures, notes, and related documentation. This Privacy Policy explains how CaseKeeper handles information when you use the app.
CaseKeeper allows you to enter record titles, categories, reference numbers, summaries, contact and organization information, deadlines, events, notes, photos, screenshots, scanned receipts, PDFs, and other supported document files.
You decide what information to enter. Do not enter information that you are not comfortable storing on your device or sharing through another app.
CaseKeeper does not require an account, password, Social Security number, financial account credentials, or other sensitive information.
CaseKeeper is designed to store your record information, documents, and pictures locally on your device. CaseKeeper does not operate a remote account database or upload your record content to its own servers.
Your records are not uploaded, shared, or synchronized through iCloud by CaseKeeper.
CaseKeeper marks its local storage as excluded from routine device backup. Export important reports if you need a separate copy. Apple may still handle information you intentionally share through Calendar, Files, Photos, AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or other system services according to your device settings and those services’ policies.
If you choose to add documents or pictures, CaseKeeper may request access to your camera, Photos library, or Files app. These permissions allow you to take photographs, scan documents, select photos, select PDFs and other supported files, and attach documentation to a record.
CaseKeeper does not access your photos, camera, or files unless you choose to use one of these features and grant permission through iOS. Documents and pictures you add are stored with the related record on your device.
CaseKeeper may allow you to add record deadlines to Apple Calendar. Calendar access is optional and requested only when you choose to add deadlines to Calendar.
CaseKeeper does not use calendar information for advertising, tracking, or marketing and does not provide a separate reminder or notification service. Calendar events remain subject to Apple’s system services and your device settings.
CaseKeeper may generate reports containing record details, summaries, deadlines, events, notes, contacts, attached documents, pictures, and files.
When you export or share a report using AirDrop, Messages, Mail, Files, or another app, the information is sent according to your instructions and handled by iOS and the receiving app or service.
After you share or export information, CaseKeeper cannot control how the receiving person, app, or service stores or uses it.
CaseKeeper does not currently use third-party advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, behavioral advertising, data brokers, or advertising identifiers for marketing. CaseKeeper does not sell your record information or personal information.
CaseKeeper does not sell, rent, or license your record information. Record content is shared only when you choose to export, share, send, store, or use an Apple system feature, when disclosure is required by law, or when necessary to protect the app or its users.
Your record information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app. You can delete records, events, deadlines, contacts, documents, and pictures using CaseKeeper’s deletion features.
Deleting the app may remove locally stored data, subject to iOS behavior and backups. Exported reports and files saved outside CaseKeeper are not deleted when you delete information inside the app. Because CaseKeeper does not require an account, there is no CaseKeeper online account to delete.
CaseKeeper relies on iOS security and file-protection features where available. Protect your device with a strong passcode and Apple’s available security features. No app can guarantee absolute security.
CaseKeeper is an organization and documentation tool. It does not provide legal, financial, or professional advice, representation, or recommendations, and it does not guarantee any outcome. You are responsible for reviewing your information, meeting deadlines, protecting confidential information, and deciding how to share your documentation.
CaseKeeper is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through CaseKeeper.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. When changes are made, the updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date.
